He has spent his life heavily involved in nutrition and fitness, starting at a young age through weight lifting and wrestling. After dealing with major digestive issues for nearly 20 years, he was tired of the same rhetoric he always heard of eat more "fiber". Kevin suggested he read some books he had himself read, and he was opened to a whole new way of thinking in terms of health and nutrition. From there he dove in head first, now reading over 50 titles and spending countless hours digging through scientific journals and collaborating with some of the top minds in the health and wellness industry.

His goal here at Destination Health is to help truckers realize they are not doomed to the all too often decline in health seen in this industry. With his nearly 15 years experience in professional restaurants, he helps people learn to appreciate simple, yet delicious and healthy meals in order to reach their goals. He has a natural passion for helping others regardless of the task at hand, and uses this passion, with the power of nutrition and lifestyle, to help people achieve their health goals.

He is now a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, certified by the NTA, along with also being a Certified Primal Health Coach through Primal Nutrition. Before joining the Lets Truck and Destination Health team, Michael was working at the top Functional Medicine Clinic in his area as a clinical nutritionist.
